Tickets for Australia’s popular Splendour In The Grass event sold out this morning in a record 1hour 7mins. The event employed a robust online ticket-booking system called QJump, which did an admirable job of handling around 70 gabillion simultaneous requests from about 45mins before official sale time.
Still, many, many fans were disappointed by the speed at which the 2-day event sold out.

But the disappointment may not stop there. You need accommodation for Splendour 2009, and you need to book it NOW, because just like the tickets, Splendour 2009 accommodation will sell out in around 48 hours.
Punters have two choices for Splendour accommodation: camping or staying in a furnished rental apartment like a civilised person.
